What's next after applying?

Soon after applying, you should hear from KPA, and if there is availability, then an interview will be setup with house management. If you haven't been given a tour prior to interviewing, then we'll make sure you get to see this place we call home.

Here's our typical application review process each year for all applicants (not including subletting):

• November 1st - Begin Accepting Applications for following year

• January 10th - Priority Application Deadline

• February 1st - Priority Applicants Accepted/Wait-Listed

• February 28th - Lease Signing due for Priority Applicants

• March through August - Rolling acceptance of applications until rooms are occupied

Unfortunately, varying circumstances sometimes make it so that this timeline is either too fast or too slow for your needs in planning housing for the next year. If that's the case, please mention your circumstances in your application, and don't hesitate to email the Resident Director and floor manager.

Background Checks

Prior to a lease being finalized, a background check will be required, which will cost you $24.99. This will be sent out after space is verified. If you expect anything to come up on the background check, you are encouraged to bring it up in your application or in your interview.
